Holiday Pool Tournaments! During the break in League play over the Holidays, you can still play some pool on Tuesday nights. Tuesday night tournaments will be held at the following locations. Season Start Bar Packet letter Season Start Captain's Packet letter Team Captain Reminder Just a friendly reminder to all Team Captains, your team scores must be entered into the online system by the middle of the season. The Captain's scoring page is located here. Captains will need the master password for your team page. If you haven't already started using the system and need your password, please contact Lee Collings, webmaster@svbpl.org. Games needed to Qualify for playoffs. (GNTQ) The minimum number of games to be played, for this player to qualify for playoff matches. A minimum of 28 games are required to qualify a player for the playoffs. Forfeit Rules: Please note, Teams with players that have experienced a Forfeit will have their GNTQ lowered by the number of games forfeited. For example, if Team A has two (2) forfeit matches, the total number of games needed to qualify is lowered to 24. The calculation for GNTQ is number of week matches (normally 14) times 2. Reporting your Scores - For everyone in the League, you'll continue to report your scores and record information that way we have in previous seasons. The HOME Team Captain is responsible for keeping scores. Both HOME and AWAY Team Captains may note information or comments on the single score sheet. Please fill them out completely and write legibly, your scores may not be counted if the sheets cannot be validated at the end of season due to illegibility. The Top Copy (white) is for the League and is to be left with the Home Team bar tender/manager for later collection by SVBPL persons. The Yellow Copy is for the HOME Team and the Pink Copy is for the AWAY Team. SVBPL is supplying manilla envelopes to the bars for used score sheets. Remember to Report Your Scores! Both Captains and / or their designate(s) must report the scores to the league at the end of match play. On Line - Log onto the SVBPL.ORG web site and report your scores on-line. Email - You may email webmaster@svbpl.org with your scores. Call In - You may call in the scores to the League Operator or League Administrator. Questions? Call David J. Penalty for non reporting Enforcement of the penalty for not reporting team scores by the 2nd Thursday following the match results in both teams receiving 0 scores, i.e. you have 9 days after the match to get your scores in one way or the other. The use of NCR's is mostly to make sure that both teams agree on the final score, which players played which matches, and so on and for validation of reported scores.
